WHATS NEW!

We are currently expanding our Washington State Certified mother-blocks to offer a wider selection of certified material to our customers. Selections that have never been available as certified in Washington State will obtain the status, and be commercially marketed by Inland Desert Nursery within the next 2-3 years. Our certified mother-block expansions will include the introduction of multiple clonal selections and rootstocks. All certified material is being sourced from Northwest Grape Foundation Services at WSU Prosser. We encourage you to visit the NWGFS website: www.nwgfs.wsu.edu. This program, which is largely supported by growers via the Plant Improvement Assessment Fee, promises to provide the cleanest material available to growers with the help of State Certified Nurseries. At IDN we have an ongoing contract with NWGFS for every selection released. Our limited supply from NWGFS is then tissue culture propagated, in order to rapidly increase commercial availability while maintaining the certified status. We are currently undergoing these expansions.

Our mother-block and facilities expansions are part of our ongoing efforts to be the most customer friendly, full-service, and reputable nursery in the state of Washington. It has never been our goal to be the biggest; however, it has always been our goal to be the best.

Be sure to check out our limited clonal selections from VCR and Tablas Creek (TCVS). Inland Desert Nursery has been granted propagating rights from NovaVine Grapevine Nursery, Santa Rosa, CA. to propagate and sell VCR clones from Italy. Inland Desert Nursery has also been granted propagation and sales rights of Tablas Creek Vineyard Selections (TCVS.)

THE COMPETITIVE EDGE IN WASHINGTON

As a proud member of the Washington State Certification Program, we are using innovative growing techniques to ensure our place in a competitive industry for years to come. We hope you continue to consider us a source for quality grapevines.

Our sources for cutting material originate from the finest, most reputable vineyards in the Yakima Valley, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley, Red Mountain, and Horse Heaven Hills Vineyard Appellations of Washington. We offer an ever expanding portfolio of Washington State Certified and Regular vines that lead the industry in quality.

Inland Desert Nursery performs a hot water treatment of cuttings to help control crown gall. This procedure has been recommended by Washington State University.
